About us

TurnAid Aps, which was established in 2014, has developed the innovative turning and repositioning system "TurnAid", which is a unique combination of an electric powered turning sheet and two bed rails.

In August 2015, Steen and Ingrid Kristensen acquired the company, and they both participate in the daily activities of the firm.

TurnAid is both designed and produced in Denmark.

In 2017 TurnAid ApS became the Danish distributor of FloorBed2, which is a special bed that differs from other care beds, as it can be lowered to only 7 cm above floor level.

The mission of our company is to optimize the situation around care, turning and repositioning of severely disabled and / or demented patients in hospitals, institutions or in their own homes.

TurnAid aims to improve the working environment and improve safety and dignity related to working around and lying in care beds, where turning and handling is performed easily and discreetly.

In October 2018 TurnAid ApS was certified according to ISO 13485: 2016. Our mission: "TurnAid is the best solution for turning and handling"
